A Helping Hand from Social Network

In your future as a student moving onto your career can be a big step.  Getting jobs or getting into college are big parts in your life and sometimes social networking can help you.  Digital citizenship is your digital footprint or your activity on social networking sites.  When you look for a job and people ant to get a background of your life and what your like they might find you on a social networking site.  If you are posting bad things they could just say forget this kid.  That is why you want to be careful of what you are posting on the internet because it is there forever and can come back to haunt you in the future.

                   Creative commons is a copyright.  It assures that your work is safe and if someone steals it they can get in a lot of trouble.  I think that many people should make a copy right for there work.

Not doing your share

In the article  A Silicon Valley School That Doesn't Compute  it goes on to explain how this school doesn't  use any technology but the tuition is still 25,000 dollars just to go to school.  The school doesn't even provide any technology and discourages internet use outside of school.  If you think about our lives in the twenty first century we are growing up with technology.  it is our best friend.  we use it everyday and people still can not use it accurately.  one day technology is going to be far more complicated then it is now.  These schools need to realize this and either stop charging so much money, or get the children working with technology.

Social used the wrong way

The article i read was true. Children and young adults could screw up their careers just by saying or doing stupid things on the internet.  Why dont they just keep it to themselves? Because they want to talk about it, get it off their chest, and discuss it with others.  They might have taken this funny video and wanted others to see so they posted it o  youtube.  It might be funny then but not in the long run

week in class

we accomplished many things even with a sub.  we started filming for our project and everyone was participating in class.  everyone was working hard so hopefully we can finish this video soon.  in my other classes it is boring. not even trying to be a suck up its all writing in textbooks and taking notes.  how are we supposed to interact.  i have learned that it is easier to learn when you are having fun.  For example elementary school was so fun and easy to learn because the teacher made it fun.  That is what i did in class last week

Internet Restrictions

The video we saw about how our internet restricts us from certain things.  I i searched the red sox one day and went to search baseball stats the next i would get all red sox things such as stats play by play and more.  To make it easier say you have a wide variety of foods and pizza is your favorite.  You eat it all the time one day you want to eat something else but you only eat pizza and things related to it.  If you want to search a wide variety of things you should be able to edit your computer to it.  that is what i got out of the video.

Bruins pre-season

Though the red sox season came to a depressing end as they had one of the worst collapses in red sox history. They were leading the wild-cart race by nine games. They lost it all in September. They needed to defeat the Baltimore orioles to clinch the wild-cart. They had the lead but after nine innings of exhilarating baseball Baltimore held their heads high defeating the red sox 4-3. Now that the red sox's run is over we turn our attention to other Boston sports. One of them being the patriots out of Foxboro Massachusetts, but now defending Stanley cup champions the Boston bruins are the main focus of fans, reporters, and recruiters world wide. They ended there 2010-2011 season last year as Stanley cup champions and are looking to make the same impact this year. As they start there preseason in 2011 the bruins have already accomplished an impressive 3-0-1 record. They take on the senators tonight 9/29/11. Score is 1-0 bruins after 1. Thank you for reading. Social Commotion

In my opinion all that was told in the article was not right. I think that adults and parents shouldn't have the right to control children and college students social network and what they post on them. That takes away the reality of those networks. Social networking privilege. The writer is somewhat correct when he says this to. Children can ruin there careers by posting things on a social networking site. Some of these actions could get them in jail. For example cyber bullying and pictures of inappropriate things. That is what I got from that article
